Last night at the Do Something Awards I wore a personally designed “I HEART NATE HENN” Shirt to show my love and respect for Nate, who was tragically killed in a terrorist attack in Uganda. Nate was a great dude who worked for Invisible Children and it’s horrible that a random act of violence took away such a bright and awesome guy. Day 02- The meaning behind your Tumblr name

I likes the whole “Fuck Yeah” trend, so yeah. And then Katie Currie is my name. Simple really.
Day 01- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.
This is as recent as you’re going to get, and this was last December I think, with Ashley.
1. In almost every picture I’m in I do the dreaded duck-face; I just don’t like my smile.
2. I like the idea of “the beach”, but I can’t for the life of me actually go swimming in open water. I think it’s gross.
3. I have OCD. It’s not severe, but it’s bad enough that it’s noticeable and it annoys me.
4. If I have the choice the do something (It could be anything, really) or read, i’ll probably choose the book.
5. I can’t trust people. It’s a big issue that I need to work on.
6. I got a 100% on my Tech. course last term. It was Flash Animation, I totally kick ass at it! And I manged to make a 97% on my S.S. (Social Studies - History) exam last term, and ended up being second in my class for the year.
7. I’m a total nerd -as if you couldn’t tell- I love all think Sci. Fi., and fantasy. Ex) Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Vampires (not so much Twilight), Star Trek, Merlin etc.
8. I have a HUGE crush on Audrey Kitching, I mean, have you seen her?
9. I am involved in many “making the world a better place” things, like: Invisible Children (you can thank Pete Wentz for that), LGBTQ stuff -I do various things with that, I (or well, my family) adopted a little girl from South Africa, her name’s Belebogile; she’s really cute!
10. I’m atheist; no “God”, no higher power, nothing. I’m not 100% sure, no one can be (yes, including you “Christians”.
11. I don’t decimate, and what I mean by that is A person is a person. End of story.
12. I like beauty. Whether it be people, art, fashion, tattoos, music. Whatever.
13. I can’t stand meat. *shudders* Eww.
14. I pretty much love everyone, that is until they do something to ruin that love.
15. I love gay men. Hahaha.
